- Breach of Contract/Claims and Disputes: Any and all
construction or contractual claims or disputes are pursued or defended
including, but not limited to, payment disputes, defaults, terminations,
extra work and scope of work issues, delay issues, defects or other
failures, payment and performance bond issues, claims for inadequate
plans and specifications, mechanics lien issues, stop notices, property
damage claims, prevailing wage issues, or any other construction or
contractual issue found within the construction industry.
- Contract Negotiation, Formation and Drafting: We
review, draft and negotiate contracts for prime contracts, subcontracts,
purchase orders, equipment use agreements, construction management agreements,
design/build agreements, lease/lease back contracts, joint venture agreements,
partnership agreements, release agreements, and numerous other contractual
obligations and agreements within the construction industry.
- Licensing Issues: Obtaining and maintaining contractors licensing for sole proprietors, partnerships, and corporations; prosecution and defense for CSLB claims and hearings; prosecution and defense for license bonds.
- Mechanics’ Lien Foreclosures/Stop Notice Claims: We handled and defend any and al claims related to mechanics’ liens and stop notices.
- Bidding Claims: Pre-bid qualifications and interpretations, prosecuting bid protests including writs of mandamus and injunctions.
- Insurance and Bonding/Miller Act Claims: Insurance Coverage and claims, Bond and surety actions, Miller Act claims.
